My son needed some "thank you" cards for friends and family that donated to the local youth orchestra. I used some stamps I had from Stampin' Up.

I made a birthday card for my dad using Graphic 45 By the Sea paper & stickers and some dimensional stickers from K & Company.
Dad always has a pack of Altoid mints in his car so I asked him to save one of the tins for me and made him a little mini album to go in it with Bible verses.

For My Sweetheart of 29 years! Wow, has it really been that long?! It hasn't all been smooth sailing but we've made it through and I wouldn't trade him for anything! He is definitely the man God intended for me to have. I love you honey!
This card is for my little sweetheart Mikayla.
And this one for my other sweetheart Thomas.
I had fun trying some new techniques using stencils & embossing to create tags for my 2 sweet daughters and wonderful Mom. Love you girls!
And for my handsome son and wonderful dad, Love you guys!

I just bought a brick look embossing folder at Pat Catans. I love the look of brick showing through plaster so I thought I would try to recreate the look on this card. I embossed the brick on tan colored cardstock then rubbed over the raised bricks with Ranger Sepia Archival Ink. Then I smeared on some homemade texture medium and dried it. I embossed the bird stamp with black embossing powder then tore the edges of my papers and sponged them with the sepia ink. I wrapped the twine around the card gluing here and there and slid the bird under the twine. I added a crochet flower that my mom made, a flat back pearl, some lace scraps, die cut some leaves and added a chipboard heart.
The stamp is from Stampin' Up Friends 24-7.
I'm entering this in
|My Tic Tac Toe is from the bottom left corner (twine) diagonally to top right corner (embossing powder).|

Here is a card I did for the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge. I embossed a heavy piece of foil (the kind that comes on frozen lasagna, gasp ) in the Tim Holtz alterations die then cut around it and rubbed some black acrylic paint over it. I thought it turned out pretty cute! Thanks for stopping by.
