Fall Cards

The leaves are starting to turn and the nights are getting cooler.  It has put me in the mood to make some fall cards.  If you would like to order any cards just send me an e-mail with your request.

Summer Flowers

I recently hosted a Stampin' Up party at my house and bought myself a few things to play with.  I've been wanting to try the Stampin' Write Markers and wanted to see how they would work to watercolor with.  I really love the look of watercolor cards but I don't know how to achieve it.  I'm doing lots of playing with my new markers and stamps and was happy with my results so far.  I want to take some watercolor classes and   improve my card making.

The new In Colors are so pretty!

Vintage Valentines

I just love the images in the Graphic 45 Time to Flourish paper line.  I made a few valentine cards for the special people in my life.

Trellis Card

I came across the idea for a trellis card on  pinterest.  I really like how it turned out.  I added a lace scrap and a flower from the collection my honey got me from Michael's for my birthday last year.  I embossed the light purple paper with my cuttlebug folder and inked around the edges.  The leaf die is from spellbinders.  I definitely want to make more of these.

Hero

When I think of the word "Hero" my first thought is to those who defend our country and our freedom.  With Veteran's Day approaching we can thank our Hero's for their service.

I am entering this card in the challenge  at Addicted to CAS (clean and simple).  This is an older stamp from Stampin' Up. Probably one of the first ones that I purchased.  I embossed the soldier and the stars with white embossing powder and layered them on a white card base.  I like the look and hope you do too.

Thanks for stopping by!

Vintage Birthday

I had a little bit of time before an appointment for a yearly check-up at my cardiologist so decided to do today's sketch on the  Mojo Monday Blog.  I have never done a tall and skinny card so this was a new one for me.  I had a vintage picture that I got from Graphics Fairy with a round image on it so thought it would be perfect to use for this card.
